Before lesson 1 

Watch videos: Basic Photography, Composition and Exposure. (take notes) it’s worth lots of

Browne points.  Bring your camera and/or phone, tripod (if you have one), fully

charged battery and memory card with enough space for 50 photographs.

 

In lesson 1

  1. Questions from the videos

  2. The camera is a simple tool. 

  3. Playing with the camera/phone, get familiar with it.

  4. Holding your camera and taking the first shot. Think every shot is a million dollar shot.

  5. Capturing light and creating your Image.

  6. What is the picture/video saying, you’ve got a 1000 words don’t waste them.

  7. How can I make every shot better.

 

 

Before Lesson 2

Watch videos: Aperture, Shutter speed and ISO. (take notes)

Bring your camera and/or phone, tripod (if you have one), fully charged

battery and memory card with enough space for 50 photographs.

 

In lesson 2

  1. Questions from the videos.

  2. Exploring depth of field.

  3. Long and short shutter speeds.

  4. How to decide what setting to use.

  5. Taking shots that use all the new tricks.

  6. How can I make every shot better.

 

Before Lesson 3

Watch videos  Lighting, Lenses and Practical photography. (take notes)

Bring your camera and/or phone, tripod (if you have one),

 fully charged battery and memory card with enough space for 50 photographs.

 

In lesson 3

  1. Questions from the videos.

  2. Finding the best light.

  3. Using natural light.

  4. What focal length lens should I use.

  5. How to best present your images.

  6. Postproduction.

  7. How can I make every shot better.
